About the role

Based in Brisbane and reporting to the Business Manager and Technical Director you will be responsible for driving the concept and product focusing on your region/territory.  This is a challenging opportunity where you will display your confidence in working in a fast paced and often high-pressured environment. We are looking for someone that is highly motivated and driven. You will work as a trusted and integral team member and will be responsible for researching new business opportunities and finding new clients, leveraging from the company reputation and your own knowledge and experience.

Essential Qualities:

  • Ability and ambition to drive the business forward

  • Excellent written and verbal communication with negotiating, networking and influencing skills

  • Working with clients at management levels

  • Have an innovative outlook, constantly seeking the best solution

  • Engineering or Technical expertise would be advantageous

  • Strong understanding of the sales cycle

  • A proactive, action orientated and results driven approach

Key Tasks:

  • To develop and execute sales strategies, generating prospective clients and building a pipeline for continued growth

  • Manage presentations and proposals to ensure the value proposition commitments to clients are documented and delivered to various engineers and other relatable professionals

  • Ensure the prospecting activities meet the business growth expectations

  • Work with clients and business partners to facilitate best industry solutions

  • Maintain an ongoing rapport to ensure that we become the trusted advisor

  • Negotiate/close deals and handle complex situations

  • Be a contributor to a culture of performance excellence

  • Must be able to undertake extensive planned travel
